Using JMS With WebSphere 4.0 for iSeries by Michael Burke and Michael Estrem

This follow-on article provides the information required to start using JMS from WebSphere* Application Server (WAS) 4.0 for iSeries applications. First we describe how to install and configure the products required to use JMS from WAS 4.0 applications (e.g., MQSeries* with the MA88 SupportPac). Then we explain how to setup WAS 4.0 and enterprise applications so that Java*2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE) components such as JavaServer Pages* (JSPs), servlets and Enterprise JavaBeans* (EJBs) can access a JMS provider using the application server.
